The simple version

Use ResumeHQ to build resumes. Don't use it for anything illegal or harmful. Pay for what you use. Cancel anytime with one click. We'll treat you fairly.

1. Service

ResumeHQ (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered resume building platform at resumehq.ai. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You can create resumes without an account. To download clean PDFs or save your work, you'll need to create an account with a valid email address. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Pricing & payments

• Free tier: Create and preview resumes. Watermarked PDF download. No credit card required.
• One-Time ($19): One payment. Clean PDF + DOCX download. 30-day editing access. No auto-renewal.
• Pro ($7/month): Monthly subscription. Unlimited resumes and features. Cancel anytime with one click from your account settings — no emails, no phone calls, no hoops.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in USD. We do not auto-renew the One-Time plan. The Pro plan auto-renews monthly but can be cancelled instantly from your account page.

4. Refunds

If you're not satisfied, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Email support@resumehq.ai.

5. Your content

You own your resume content. We don't claim any rights to the resumes you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for providing the service. We don't use your resume data to train AI models.

6. AI-generated content

Our AI generates resume content based on the information you provide. While we strive for accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. Don't submit a resume with information you know to be false.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use ResumeHQ to create fraudulent documents, impersonate others, or for any illegal purpose. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API or AI systems.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account, you'll receive a prorated refund for any unused Pro subscription time.
